How do I get there?
Transfiguration is located in Lake St. Louis and is easy to get too. You can find detailed schedule information and directions here.
What should I wear?
Transfiguration has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual.
Where do my kids go?
At The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, children are always welcome to worship with their families. We also provide a supervised Nursery for ages infant – 4, Children’s Chapel for ages 4 – 12, and a TEEN Group.
What is a Sunday service like?
Worship in the Episcopal Church is said to be “liturgical”, meaning that the congregation follows service forms and prays from texts that don’t change greatly from week to week during a season of the year. All worship in the Episcopal Church is based in the Book of Common Prayer, which gives worship a familiar feel, no matter where you go. All Baptised Christians—no matter age or denomination—are welcome to “receive communion” which is offered at every Sunday worship service.
