Handchimes Rehearsal January 29, 2012 9:15 AM Handchimes Rehearsal is on the first, second, third and fifth Sundays of each month. Please arrive at 9:10 a.m.

Children's Chapel Children's Chapel January 29, 2012 10:15 AM 10:15 AM at Transfiguration Episcopal Church, Children's Chapel Worship Service begins for children ages 4 through 13. Everyone will gather in the main church and then the Chapel Leader will lead the children to their beautiful Chapel for a worship service (about 20 to 30 minutes long) which is age appropriate, engaging and joyful.  The children will receive basic  Christian Formation and worship.  After Children’s Chapel, the children will join their families in the main worship service.  Please, bring your children and invite any children and their parents! We welcome all parents and children of all religious backgrounds to come and join with us at our new Children’s Chapel.

Worship Worship January 29, 2012 10:15 AM Sunday Worship at 10:15 AM, Holy Eucharist (Communion).  All worship services include music and hymns for the day.  Also, Children's Chapel and Nursery is available at the 10:15 AM service.

Yoga January 30, 2012 4:45 PM Yoga meets on Mondays and Thursdays at 4:45 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Contact person is Sharon Olson at Lake St. Loui Parks and Recreation. Phone number 636-625-7943.

Youth Choral Arts January 30, 2012 6:15 PM Rehearsals are held at Transfiguration Episcopal Church, 1860 Lake St. Louis Blvd, Lake St. Louis on Monday evenings.  Choral Arts Youth, kindergarten to high school, rehearse from 6:15 to 7:15 pm.    Adults rehearsal starts at 7:30 PM.  Please contact Paul Godt at 636-745-8161 or pwgodt(at)centurytle.net, for more information.

Adult Choral Arts January 30, 2012 7:30 PM Rehearsals are at Transfiguration from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.  The Concert Arts Association is dedicated to excellence in singing while having fun achieving it.  Visit www.concertarts.org for more information.

Of Special Interest


Children's Chapel!
Each Sunday at 10:15 AM, we will offer our new Children's Chapel worship service for ages 4 through 12/13.  Everyone will gather in the main church and then the Chapel Leader will lead the children to their beautiful chap for a worship service which is age appropriate, engaging and joyful.  The children will receive basic Christian formation and worship.  Please, bring your children and invite any others as well.  Children for any background is welcome to fully participate.

Prayer Group

2nd Saturday of the month, 8-9 AM.  Open to all.  Time of reflection, scripture reading and prayer for those who want to share or those who want to listen.


Men's Group
Gathers on the First Thursday of every other month at 7:00 PM (Check the calendar page).


Meals for local Homeless
December 12th at a local hotel, where we work with "First Step back Home", in feeding families working to get stability back in their lives.  If you are interested in this ministry, please call the church office at 636-561-8951.


Church Game Night

Meets every third Friday in the Parish Hall.  Open to everyone - a time for fun, food and a variety of games.


Seniors
(anyone over 55)

On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, anyone over 55 is invited to come for a free delicious lunch, friendship and activiities if you want to stay. We begin at 11:00 AM. Lunch is served at Noon. The afternoon activities end at 2:00 PM. This is open to anyone in the surrounding communities.


Movie Club
Meets on the first Friday of each month at 7:00 PM.  There are a variety of movies (ALL Free) everyone is welcome.  Free popcorn and soft drinks provided.


Parish Annual Meeting
Everyone in the Parish in needed and requested to attend our Annual Meeting of the Congregation, on Sunday, January 29th from 9:00 - 9:50 AM.  The election of our Vestry and Delegates will take place, as well as the presentation of the 2012 budget for ministries and programs of the parish.  We need your participation.
