Meet the Vestry

The Vestry is the group of elected lay leaders of our parish who work with the Rector and his/her staff in setting the direction and vision for the Church of the Transfiguration.  This is the work of the spiritual leadership as we discern God’s desire for our common life.  The Vestry holds the responsibility for the faithful management of property and finance as a corporation in the State of Missouri and congregation in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri. The Vestry oversees all ministries of the congregation.  It’s members respond to the calling of leadership, oversight, and management, bringing diverse talents and experiences to the task, guided by scripture and holy conversation and empowered by the Spirit in carrying out God’s mission.

The Vestry normally meets the third Wednesday of each month.  Our meetings are open to the congregation; we warmly welcome youth to attend.
